[...] And now on to the disappointment of specific individuals. First, Matt will be disappointed in me. I am in the middle of two projects for him: Ravenclaw socks (I have finished the first) and a sweater, ostensibly for our (now passed) anniversary. This weekend, however, instead of making progress on either, I set aside all good sense and went to Patternworks (the store is 10 minutes from my family’s camp on Lake Winnipesaukee) and bought two balls of Koigu in a colorway that I adored (it is terribly represented in this photo) and couldn’t help myself from casting on more or less immediately (well, I did wait until I got home after realizing that the invisible cast-on was too fiddly for behind the steering wheel).
happy anniversary and all that... but what i really want to know is: do you think you'll *ever* make ravioli again? m and i made it once like 6 years ago, and we still haven't recovered from the experience. however, i believe that you are a little more unflappable (would "less flappable" have been correcter?) than us so i'm wondering how you're feeling about it now that couple of days have passed.

also, when did rachel start eating figs? you guys have changed so much since we left.

Hey Mon Frere.
That's brother in french, I dunno why I know that, I took four years of Spanish!

Happy Anniversary dude! It does seem rather odd that two years ago we all schlepped to hear about the history of lake winnapasaki (sp?)

Yay!!! Congrats you two...and you're right, you should say "nyeah" to the rest of us. Rachel is a spectacular person, but you're not too bad yourself ;)

And, WOW, what a dinner. Don't think you could have eaten better if you had gone out...yummmmm
