Seriously. So simple, so good.
Decent bread, whole-grain mustard, thinly sliced Granny Smith apples, brie, and a single paper-thin slice of prosciutto.
A sandwich like this doesn’t need words.

Except for the words: “My wife conjured the idea for this sandwich out of thin air when I asked her what to have for lunch. She is most excellent, my wife.”
By the way, where do you get paper-thin prosciutto around here? My husband laments that he can’t find anything like the prosciutto they had in the old country Montreal.
