I mean, Harry's so desperate about having no information from Dumbledore, yet he has a blatantly clear message FROM Dumbledore that the snitch will open, presumably yielding something useful. Have they even had a conversation about what it could mean since the first night after he received it (if then, which I can't remember)? I know Hermione has been reading her book, but still, it seems as though they might have devoted a leeeettle more time to this during all those long quiet hours.
