Chapter 20: Xenophilius Lovegood
Ron’s cute when he’s sucking up to Hermione, and Harry’s having difficulty getting his new stolen wand to work. We finally get an explanation for how the trio were tracked to Tottenham Court Road: Voldemort’s name is now Taboo, which means the Ministry can track anyone who says it.
Nothing else really happens, though. The trio heads off to find Luna’s father to ask him about the triangular eye symbol that keeps popping up (in Buffy, as I recall, it meant the end of the world) and Xenophilius reveals that the symbol refers to the — dun dun dun! — Deathly Hallows. Title!
No spoilers for later chapters in the comments! We’ll find out what the Hallows are in the next chapter anyway.
