Chapter 25: Shell Cottage
Nice little chapter. Griphook agrees to help them break into Gringotts, in exchange for the sword of Gryffindor. I’m not clear why they don’t just say, “Griphook, we need the sword to defeat You-Know-Who, but as soon as that’s done, you can have it.” Maybe they figure he wouldn’t go for it? After Bill’s warning, I suspect trouble.
And congratulations are definitely in order to Lupin and Tonks, and to new godfather Harry. After Lupin’s happiness in announcing the birth of his son, I think it’s safe to say he’s a goner.
(Oh, and prediction: the final Horcrux is the “lost diadem of Ravenclaw.”)
No spoilers for later chapters in the comments! Even if I’m right.
