Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Chapter 26

Chapter 26: Gringotts

Well, that was thrilling.

Griphook’s a dirty double-crosser, and the burning hot metal curse in the vault is pretty awful, but our heroes manage to emerge with Hufflepuff’s cup and a dragon, to boot. (Rachel called, when it first appeared, that they’d use the dragon to escape.) How, though, will they destroy the other Horcruxes? Can they get the sword back again? And where will they go now? Should we be concerned about Harry’s new facility with Unforgivable Curses?

At this point, there’s really no more concealing from Voldemort what they’re up to, is there? This one was a little obvious.

No spoilers for later chapters in the comments!

Maybe they could just point their wands at the Horcrux and use “avada kedavra”? Too obvious? (Yeah, too obvious.)

Huh. That is interesting. Would “Sectumsempra” work? Maybe they won’t have to destroy them, as I speculated way back here…

I wasn’t really down with Harry using the Unforgivable Curses either. I know this is war and everything but it seems very “come over to the dark side.” No?
