Happy Anniversary! Mouthwatering, every course. I once made a white bean/black bean soup and had fun pouring it into a yin yang that I swirled about. It’s fun to cook really awesome meals. I haven’t done one in a long time. Next time you braise short ribs, gimme a call and I’ll be on the next Amtrak.

So did you guys go for gifts of crystal or . . . leather??

Oh, they had grits, just not “quick-cooking grits,” and anyway, buying a bag of cornmeal labeled “grits” when I had a bag of cornmeal at home seemed dumb.

Happy Day After Anniversary! Rachel is a lucky gal.

No grits in RI?! An outrage! They even have grits in Iowa. Oh well, if you really need grits some other time, let me know. I have a plethora of types of grits to choose from. I’ll send you anything you need. I have been known to ship grits across the country. (Not kidding. I’ve done it twice.)

Aww, happy anniversary and a day, sweetie! What a nice post — and song — and dinner of course! If I’m going to support anyone while he quits his job to sleep in, I’m glad it’s you. :)
