Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore
This book was a completely engrossing read, and was way weirder than I expected it to be. Although I enjoyed every minute reading, I was unsettled by how many plot threads were left unfinished, and how the rules of Murakami’s magical world were never explained in any internally-coherent way. Maybe that’s my limitation as a reader.
