Indeed! A string of disappointments: FISA, the support for the supreme court gun decision, one other that I can’t remember, and a recent NYT article on his support for faith-based initiatives.
I have mixed feelings on his recent shifts & positions (2nd amendment, capital punishment, campaign financing, etc.) — on one had he’s losing some of his purity, but shows he is playing to win and not afraid to throw some sharp elbows (like dropping Rev. Wright). Hopefully that is a good sign not only about winning in Nov., but getting things done in January.
