Conversely, make breakfast for lunch! Then you can have a nice wheat beer with your omelet. (This is a perfect brunch with an apple omelet--sprinkle the cooking apples with a pinch each of sugar, salt, and white pepper--with goat cheese.)

Matt, for me, the only way I can be a morning person when I have to be is by making breakfasts like this every day. I find the earlier I have to get up to leave the house, the more time I have to plan for getting ready in the morning so that I can tempt myself out of bed with promise of a lovingly prepared breakfast and a pot of coffee.

One way to make it really easy would be to have everything ready in the fridge--diced veggies, cheese, good bread, farm-fresh eggs--and even have out the omelet pan and spatula, a bowl and fork to beat the eggs with, etc. Conceive of the omelet the night before, and then use the ease with which you can grasp everything you need to make the omelet a reality to wake yourself up when the alarm goes off.

Does wonders for my outlook, anyhow. Even a great lunch has never contributed to my sense of well-being.

Come on Matt. Seriously. You're so much better than this.
Yes, the pictures are nice, sure.
But you could cook circles around this person.
"Don't dream it. Be it."

If you only take the timestamps of the posts into consideration, it seems like she usually eats breakfast in the evening. Maybe that's the secret.
