Candace Parker – Overachiever Part 2
We pointed out before that Candace Parker is an overachiever, but add one more milestone - Parker is pregnant. The WNBA, initially peeved is now resigned because, “Candace can be a very usable symbol of how you can have a family and a career.” My guess is she plays most of the season, though, so the WNBA will still be able to lean on her.
I love Candace.
Since Big Baby Davis is my favorite NBA player, I think I can squeeze Candace Parker in as my favorite WNBA player. That works, right?
Absolutely. But just realize that Candace is tougher–watching her shoulder fall out of the socket twice, then watching her come back in the game hurt ME, but clearly not her.
We’re arguing about who is tougher between Candace Parker and Big Baby Davis? I’m not sure it’s a contest.
BBD is a bad comparison, I admit. I’d put CP’s tough factor up against just about anyone in the NBA though.
